The SRO 1000 LS skimmer is powered by the high performance Bubble Blaster pinwheel pump. The skimmer comes equipped with a gate valve output to allow for precision control. The collection cup has a quick release neck for easy removal for cleaning. It requires 1/2 inch of clearance to remove the cup. The SRO LS skimmer uses metric plumbing parts.

Octopus motorized (ANC) Automated Neck Cleaner helps keeps your octopus protein skimmer running at peak performance by periodically wiping the inside of the neck where all the bio-organics usually would accumulate.  This great skimmer accessory not only keeps you skimmer running at peak efficiency but save the timely chore of keeping your skimmers neck clean. As you know, build up in the neck causes foam to stick to the sides and restricting the collection of skimmate within the skimmers cup.

SRO Dual Blade Auto Neck Cleaning Device

Keeping the neck wall clean results in consistent skimmer performance and little to no down time.  This device uses twin squeegees to automatically remove the buildup from a skimmer neck. The SRO (ANC) consists of a high torque low RPM motor, wiper mount, lid with mounting clamps and the squeegees.

To operate this easy to you device,  you simply plug the unit into a timer (not included) or aquarium controller and set it to run for a few minutes 4 to 6 times per day.  By running it this way you will never experience crud build up along the walls of you skimmers neck.  This will  eliminate the daily chore of cleaning for two or more weeks while maintaining the level of skimmate production that you would normally get with only a freshly-washed collection cup.

This unit will increase the height of your skimmer by approximately 4.75“ with all models except the CL110 which adds an additional 4″.

Our Octopus ANC does not require you to send in or modify your stock lid in any way because our ANC is built into the lid for precise control.

The Commercial SRO 7000ext is the smallest in the innovative SRO line of industrial protein skimmers with a body just under 16 inches and standing only 32.7 inches tall. Don’t let its short stature and small footprint full you, it comes equipped with the Bubble Blaster 10000 pump that produces incredible air draw numbers and only using 95 watts of energy. Great for large home aquariums, frag farmers, small commercial displays and store systems under 1300 gallons.

About the Pump
The quiet but powerful Bubble Blaster HY-10000 is a super efficient pinwheel skimmer pump that comes backed by a 3 year warranty. Our Bubble Blaster skimmer pumps are a true innovation to the aquarium hobby. Equipped with a calcium inhibiting silicone nitride shaft and bearings our Bubble Blaster skimmer pumps increasing life of the pump and decreasing maintenance. While all other skimmer pumps on the market are modified water pumps from a water pump manufacturer the Bubble Blaster pumps were designed and built to be a skimmer pump! Enhanced with a digital control circuit board that controls the pumps directional start-up and RPM speeds. This smart circuit board will shut the pump off if it detects a problem. Another unique feature is the clear volute housing which allows you to see inside the pump without having to take it apart allowing you to see if something is stuck inside the volute housing or pinwheel.  The key feature of the Bubble Blaster pumps is the enormous amount of air they pull per watt. Air and water volume is the key to aggressive protein skimming and there is no other pump on the market that compares.

The Skimmer
