Our CoralVue Refractometer is an incredibly accurate optical device (no batteries) that eliminates the inaccurate readings associated with common inexpensive hydrometers. Very simple to use, just place a couple of drops of water onto the prism and hold up to the light to read. These are  an absolute must for the serious marine hobbyist.
