Warranty Information

Terms and Conditions of Warranty:
All product warranty is under the discretion of CoralVue. CoralVue reserves the right to void any warranty if improper use of the product is found; such as water damage, saltwater corrosion, salt creep, excessive heat due to improper installation, electrical surge, power failure, and improper maintenance. CoralVue reserves the right to void any warranty if improper modifications are made to any skimmer pumps. CoralVue does not cover personal injury, personal loss, or damages associated with the use of these products.

Returns and Replacements:
All warranty repairs are performed by CoralVue.  Please contact us for a Return Authorization number when sending a warranted product. Please package the returned product with peanuts, bubble wrap or other reputable proper packing material. Also include proof of purchase, a note stating the problem and provide your return address information. Once we receive the product we will repair or replace it and send it back to you in a timely manner. All items are returned via Fedex Ground or US Post Office. If you would like it overnight or second day please call us at 985-781-9078 extension 3 for pricing.

*To our distributors: If any of your customers have warranted Octopus products, they must go through CoralVue as we will not accept used skimmers, reactors or pumps.

 

Lighting

Coralvue Ballast Warranty – Not including the T5 ballast: 3 years
All of our new UL approved electronic metal halide and VHO ballasts come with a 3 year warranty. CoralVue warrants against defects in the product for 3 years from the original date of purchase from a retailer. The warranty is non transferable.

Coralvue Bulb Warranty – Including metal halide and T5 fluorescent bulbs: 30 Days
CoralVue warrants against defects in the product for 30 days from the original date of purchase from a retailer. The warranty is non transferable.

Coralvue T5 Warranty – Includes T5 kits and T5 ballast: 1 year
CoralVue warrants against defects in the product for 1 year from the original date of purchase from a retailer. The warranty is non transferable.

Coralvue High Warranty – 6 months
CoralVue warrants against defects in these products: LB reflectors, LB pendants, Fans, Float Switches, parabolic reflectors and Sun pendants for 6 months from the original date of purchase from a retailer. The warranty is non transferable.

Reef Octopus

Octopus Warranty – Excludes Extreme, Hurricone, and Super Reef: 1 year
CoralVue warrants against defects in these models: NWB, DNWB, DDNW, TDNW, HOB’s (except 800s), calcium reactors, OTP pumps, and other acrylic Octopus products for 1 year from the original date of purchase at retail. Warranty covers the skimmer/reactor and the pump. The warranty is non transferable.

Octopus Extreme Skimmers Warranty –Includes skimmers with Sicce pump: 1 year
CoralVue warrants against defects in these products: EXT160, EXT200, EXT250, EXT350, and BH800s for 1 year from the original date of purchase at retail. Warranty covers the skimmer and the Sicce pump. The warranty is non transferable.

Octopus Hurricone Skimmers Warranty – Skimmers: 1 year / Askoll pump: 1 year
CoralVue warrants against defects in these products: CAT1, CAT2, CAT2E and CAT3 (skimmer only) from the original date of purchase at retail. The Askoll pumps are warranted for 1 year. The Hurricone skimmers, custom volutes, and custom pinwheels are warranted for 1 year. The Hurricone Cat 3 pump is a Reeflo Orca pump warranted by Reeflo. The warranty is non transferable.

Super Reef Octopus Skimmers Warranty – Skimmer/Reactors: 1 year
CoralVue warrants against defects in these products for 1 year from the original date of purchase at retail. Warranty covers the skimmer and reactor only. The warranty is non transferable.

Bubble Blaster/Water Blaster Pumps Warranty – 3 years
CoralVue warrants against defects in all pumps for 3 years from the original date of purchase at retail. Warranty covers Bubble Blaster and Water Blaster pumps included with the Super Reef Octopus skimmers and reactors. The warranty is non transferable.

High Seas Powerhead Warranty –1 year
CoralVue warrants against defects in the product for 1 year from the original date of purchase at retail. The warranty is non transferable.
